Leisure Reading Collection Returns October 2nd with Heights Library Partnership
Two years ago we were forced to discontinue our leased leisure reading collection due to budget considerations. Since then we have heard from many that they missed being able to browse recent popular fiction, non-fiction and biographies at Grasselli Library as leisure reading selections. We received many of these comments in our Lib-Qual+ survey last year. We heard you!
We’re happy to say that we’ve entered into a partnership with Heights Libraries who will provide us a leisure reading collection at no charge to be available to the JCU community through Grasselli Library. The initial collection is several hundred books and audio books. The selection can be adjusted as we get to know your preferences.
To check out these books, you will need a local public library card. If you don’t have one, or need to check the status of an unused card, stop by the Grasselli Circulation Desk and we can help you to be ready for our October 2nd launch date. JCU students can use their campus address to be eligible for a local public library card.
