Online Resource Highlight--Film and Television Literature Index upgraded with full-text

The JCU community has had access to the Film and Television Literature Index since last summer. Grasselli Library now has added access to full-text books and articles in this resource.

Film & Television Literature Index with Full Text is the definitive online tool for film and television research. It is a comprehensive bibliographic and full text database covering the entire spectrum of television and film. Subject coverage includes film & television theory, preservation & restoration, writing, production, cinematography, technical aspects, and reviews. The database provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for more than 270 publications (and selected coverage of more than 300), as well as full text for more than 70 journals and nearly 50 books. The database has been designed for use by a diverse audience that includes film scholars, college students, and general viewers.

Bookmarking EJC Articles Just Got Easier

Now you can quickly bookmark articles found in the OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center to your del.icio.us, Google Bookmarks, Connotea, Digg, reddit, Spurl, or Windows Live Favorites account with just one click. Just look for the icon for your favorite bookmarking tool on the abstract page of any article in the EJC.
You can also save articles to your own My Articles page in the EJC. You will need to create an EJC account and log in to save articles.

The EJC also offers:

* Journal alerts – Get new issue alerts via RSS feed or go to My EJC and create an account to create a list of favorite journals and set up e-mail notifications.

* My Searches – Put your research on autopilot. Save your searches and set times for the system to automatically execute them and e-mail you the results.

The OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center is available to all JCU faculty, staff and students from on or off campus and includes the full-text of more than 6000 online research journals covering many subject areas.
