Grasselli Library Celebrates National Library Week

During the week of April 13-19 The American Library Association will celebrate the 50th annual National Library Week. This will be a time to celebrate the contributions of libraries, librarians and library workers nationwide. The Grasselli Library and Breen Learning Center will join the festivities with a week long series of events and activities.

Book Swap

Did you just finish reading a good book, need to find a new one? Swap your book with one on our table in the Grasselli lobby.

Wall of Reading
Sign the wall of reading and share a favorite book title. Check the wall for reading suggestions.


Tuesday
National Library Workers Day
A time for library workers to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers. Leave some feedback for those Grasselli Library librarians and staff who have helped you.
Create your own READ postcard
Join the many celebrities that have lent their images to promoting reading. Stop by the Grasselli Reference Desk between 2:00 and 10:00 p.m. for details.

Wednesday
John Carroll Review "Reads Out Load"
Join us in Java City Grasselli at 3:00p.m. where John Carroll Students will read their literature and poetry that will be published in this year's John Carroll Review.

Grasselli Library Congratulates Philip Metres

Grasselli Library congratulates Philip Metres, English, on the publication of “To See the Earth." This is his first full-length poetry collection and is published by The Cleveland State University Poetry Center and has been described as "a debut of unusual distinction." A copy is available at Grasselli Library.

The faculty and staff of Grasselli Library take pride in the scholarship of our community. Please help us stay aware of forthcoming publications.
